Smart Private Jet Travel

Full control of your flights, ground transportation, hotel, guide services, and events, from your cell phone, with one call or text.

Imagine...you are sitting at your beach home at 7:30 on Wednesday morning, taking a picture of the beautiful sunrise.  A client calls and says, "I need that sample we were talking about and I want to sign those papers.  Can you be here this afternoon?"  What is your next move?  The client is 950 miles away.  It's a 14 hour drive...each way!  Do you say, "No, I can't make it.", or, "Absolutely, does 2pm work?"  You send us a text saying you'll be at the airport in one hour.  We are ready to go and you are landing near your client at 11:30, with a car waiting.

Job done, it's Wednesay evening.  Mid-flight, you decide to stop on the way home to check out that property you've been thinking of, so we book a hotel and car from the air and make arrangements with the realtor for a showing.  The realtor can't get in until Friday, but that's no problem.  We arrange for a couple of colleague and prospect meetings, and concert tickets for Thursday night.

If it's important, you want to be there.  Family Aviation is the answer.

Serving Our Investors

Our goal is to be the choice private airline for our investors, providing safe, convenient, and amazingly affordable personal aviation services, with high availablity, always at the ready.  Are you flying from the L.A. basin to Mammoth or Aspen for skiing?  Madison, Wisconsin to Madison Square Garden?  Buffalo, NY to Bermuda?  Grand Rapids to Grand Cayman?  Your choice of food onboard?  Car, hotel, and local guide on arrival?  Whatever your destination...whatever your desire...we are here to provide an amazing journey, a luxurious experience, from one begining to the next, that can't be compared to commercial flight.

Family Aviation operates on a "cost-plus" basis.  As our investors are our #1 clients, we take all of the actual (variable) costs of the flights, the fixed costs, all services, maintenance and training, corporate and attorney's fees, and provide a monthly statement.  Profits from other flights, which are at your discression, can be used as offsets, further reducing the overall ownership investment.  Depending on how many other charter flights are booked, it may result in little to no cost for your personal flights.

How do You Want to Arrive...Like a Box, or a Civilized Human?

We have the skill and the desire to make flying an incredible experience...not just a bus ride in the air.  So, how do you want to travel to your next destination?

Do you want to make the best of your time, with phone, WiFi, food, family, friends, colleagues, clients, and privacy?  Or, do you enjoy dealing with massive throngs of people going through check-point Charlie, subjected to strip-search, packed into a pressurized tube like sardines, making sure your noise-canceling headsets are working 'cause you know there will be all kind of noise, slogging through another airport with your bags while trying to make your next gate, then standing around waiting for your luggage...if they can find it...discovering your skis or clubs are busted up...or on their way to Poughkeepsie

Matching Your "Mission" to the Aircraft...Your Private Airline

So many differernt types of airplanes!  How do you decide?  The broad spectrum of private jets range from "very light" to "large".  Very light jets typically have a flying range of around 500 nautical miles and can carry four passengers with bags, at speeds from 350 to 450 knots .  Large jets can carry a dozen or more, at nearly 600 knots, well over 7,000 nautical miles.  As dramatic the performance differences, so are the costs of ownership.

From "very light" to "midsize", the majority can be flown by a single pilot.  A high percentage in the midsize category (and up) require two pilots, and a flight attendant is required at 19 passengers.

The "mission" can be defined by the furthest distance between airports (on all of the legs of your trip); the number of passengers; total weight of all passengers, luggage, cargo, crew, and fuel; the runway lengths at the intended airports; and the weather conditions at the airports and along the route of flight.  Where most commercial aircraft fly at between 32,000 and 38,000 feet, private jets typically fly higher...some up to 51,000 feet.  Aircraft at these higher altitudes have three benefits: better fuel economy, they fly above the weather, and there's less traffic.

Additionally, private jets typically maintain a quieter cabin, with a more comfortable pressure altitude.  Combine these features with a luxurious interior, better food, no crowds, ease of access, and the entire journey virtually eliminates the stress associated with commercial travel.

Mission: Island Hopping

You've arrived in the Bahamas and want to spend some time at your favorite getaway -

Design Your Journey - Island Learning Center

For those who have crafted their journey, life is a never-ending sequence of wide-ranging opportunities. The choice we've made, to help others experience the freedom of flight, fills us with gratitude for the beauty of discovery and the wonders of the world...which we are able to share with a few young people.

Island Learning Center helps at-risk kids achieve their goals by showing them how others have overcome the challenges in their lives. We're building a library of interviews...everyone from shop owners to executives, beat cops to the Attorney General, and drilling down into their grandparents, parents, and their personal challenges, to find out what they did...their trajectory through life, with the hopes of inspiring kids to do the same. We will offer points to kids who watch the most videos, have a section where they can track their step-by-step progress towards their goals, and have a quarterly drawing for an island getaway, but only for the kids with the top 100 points.

Island Learning Center will also have a paid service, which will offer educational videos by top thought leaders in health, wealth, relationships, and self-improvement. Each paid account will allow us to donate 10 accounts to kids' families who can benefit from its use. Big Brothers Big Sisters, inner-city schools, adoption centers... It's my way of giving back and your participation is certainly welcomed.
